Well here we go with another tardy update! It's been about 3 weeks since the last post and we have been busy with chores, keeping the Rink going, hockey and yes more sickness LOL. We had Leanne's Dad's 68th birthday on January19th.
There has been an owl hanging around - not sure what kind. Frank can maybe help out on this one - got pics below and can send you the full image if it helps.
We also got another dump of snow this past week and there forecasting a bit more over the next day or so. Had some good drifts in the back yard about 4 feet deep that stretched across the ice rink. We had a rink party scheduled for the next day so I had to get the blower out. I took the shoes off the snowblower and used it to scrape it all off the ice. Worked pretty good and didn't have much shovelling after. I then got out my redneck zamboni that I threw together and resurfaced the rink. I wonder if I could sell them to the NHL? LOL
