Well first off I have to appoligize for the tardiness of my post - Thanks to Frank for waking me up! LOL  It has been a crazy ~3 weeks.  I think if I could sum it all up in one word it would have to be "sick".  I think we all got sick at least twice and it seemed to hang on.  Luckly and fingers crossed we all seem pretty good heading into the Holidays.  So without further adieu heres a quick catch up.

The Warden has started working with Libro Credit Union as a Small Business Representative.  She is really enjoying the role and is a lot happier with the role and employer than her last one.

Graydon after a bath one night - getting some "ogurt"

Addie with "Sam" who is filling in for Chippy our elf on the shelf.  Sam is a elf in training and he did a great job! Chippy was lost in a secret mission with Santa but eventually came back.

Chippy's back and keeping an eye on us!

Addie taking a face off at one of her hockey games.

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!  The night we started decorating.  Apparently you can't let The Warden and the Kiddo's put all the ornaments on the front side LOL  the tree fell over the next morning.  So I tied it back and they did a great job re decorating the tree that night.

Addie's Uncle Doug meets her at the bus with Dillion from time to time.  She loves going for rides on him!

Addie and Graydon got to meet Santa at the daycare.  Graydon wasn't to sure about old St Nick so he wouldn't go near him. LOL

Graydon playing on some hay out in the barn.

Graydon and I at Addie's school Christmas Concert.  It was a great show.

Addie in the concert.  Not a great pic but Addie is the one in the white skirt and black top in the centre.

Well that's it for now will try and keep you a little more updated in the future! Cheers.

Well I haven't got a lot of pics for the last week but it was a productive one.  Got a hay feeder made out of a pallet and some odds and ends that I had in the Garage.  I also mucked out the barn and did some organizing (it needs a lot more!).  Trapped a stray Cat and relocated him.  Got to blow some more snow, however it has all since melted but I'm keeping my fingers crossed that there is more to come!  I helped uncle Doug get some hay and he in turn helped me pick up a Beautiful antique dresser that Leanne's parents picked up for us from a auction. So all and all it was a pretty good week ... now on to a few pics.

The Hay Feeder for Shirley and Molly.

Shirley had no problem figuring it out and using it.  Now hopefully there won't be so much wasted hay on the ground!

The Stray Cat ... Should have seen the fur on the ground in the barn after he fought one of the barn cats.  Now I know where they get the saying "should have seen the fur fly" from.  Nice looking cat and nice to me but I got too many so he went for a ride and I dropped him off in a new area.

Our cat from Wheatley - Major.  She's our mud room cat.  Great cat just sheds way to much to have in the house so she has a cozy little spot in our mud room.

Snow last Thursday morning.

Addie out waiting for the bus.

Addie is loosing her teeth right now and has a hilarious front tooth that just about sticks straight out. It's so funny to watch her talk.

Out back - our round pen.

Looking West

My Favorite Pic so far ... looking off my back step.  I think there's a reason Winter is my favourite season ... pretty hard to get a pic like that in the summer.  Until next time; Take'r Easy - But Take Her. Cheers.

Well another productive couple weeks.  Been busy trying to keep ahead of old man winter but he's coming quick.  Glad we got all the wood in the house when it was still warm out!

Went and got 30 bales of hay for Shirley and Molly and 22 more bales of straw.  Couldn't fit anymore in the old heavy chevy! One more load like that and I should be set for the winter.

Graydon heading out to the barn one morning to help me with the chores.

Well decided I need a place to park the Tractor and it's implements for the winter so I framed up a temporary lean to on the side of the sea can.  I covered it with tarps but am finding out that we get hammered with heavy winds here and I'm not sure how long the tarps will hold up.  Keeping my fingers crossed!

Graydon coming out with his tool kit to help me with the lean to.

The drive into work last Friday morning.  Woke up to 8" of snow.  Apparently I leave before the plows get out.  I broke trail for a good part of the drive into work.

Dillon all dressed up for the Exeter Santa Clause Parade

This past weekend my nephew Spencer came out and helped me with some work around the farm.  He did a great job using the pitch fork in the cow's pen.

Loved blowing snow with the tractor - he hopes there is a lot of snow next time he visits!

He helped me build a feed trough for the pigs.

He had a busy morning with me and then went and watched Addie play hockey in the afternoon.

After while they were at hockey I enjoyed a Tomiko Moose Milk!

Well a couple windy cool days here.  Spent yesterday patching up the roof on the east side of the house.  Going to be putting a steel roof on next summer.  Just got to limp this one along until then.  Fingers crossed it'll make it.
So far today done the chores and got a big pot of bean soup cooking on the wood stove.  Going to head out to the garage and do a little organizing. Wish me luck - been a little slow at it!

Well since the last post we've had a Birthday, Halloween, a few more preparations for old man winter and a few new additions to the farm!  So grab your cup of java or whatever you dare to drink after a long dusty trail and read on!

Frosty Friday Morning!  Starting to cool down!

Addie and her Birthday Gang.  Thanks to Sophia, Spencer, Audrey, Marlee, Faith to coming to celebrate it with her!

Addie's Monster High (I know I'm not sure what it is either) Cake.

Leanne and her Uncle Doug

Barn Door decorated for Uncle Doug's family photo shoot.  Took a few of the motley crew after setting it up.

The Warden and I

Pumpkin Carving!

Look at all the Guts Dad!

If Graydon feels something behind him he automatically sits down. LOL

All carved up and Lit up!

Addie posing in her Halloween get up.

Graydon the Dinosaur and Addie the Monster High Girl

Shirley and Molly - two new additions to the funny farm.  They are both Highland cows

My what big horns you have!

Dillon isn't to sure of them but starting to warm up to them.  Molly was pretty curious but Dillon chased her away. LOL

The Fur Ball

Added two Berkshire Gilts (girls) to the lot.  Once there bigger they can bred with Freddy.

Old man winter I'm ready!  Got a new front mount snowblower for the tractor.  Also added a set of forks, and box scraper.

Graydon Loves the Lawnmower and Tractor.  Although the lawnmower takes the prize.

Went to the Clinton Rodeo with Leanne and her Uncle Doug and Shawna, well we got there a little late but just in time to catch the BIKINI barrel races!  Yup I could get used to this rodeo thing! LOL

Leanne snapped a shot of my better side.  She always calls me an ass. LOL
